AHW 2/26/14
Short Story
Along time a go deep in the forests of Asia there was a tribe named the Asunder tribe. In the religon they followed there was a law that said every 100 years on the night when a summer solstice and lunar eclipse took place they would have to sacrifice 4 15 year old girls to there god so the harvest would still be plentiful and there gods would not take revenge on the people that lived there. It just so happens that tonight is that night and I am one of the 4 girls that will lose there lives tonight to the burn of a flame.

The Electric Fence
An electric fence is a great idea, but when you think about it from an animal's point of view - not so much. Imagine you are a dog who is always cooped up in a kennel and your owner lets you outside to run freely for the first time ever. Immediately you make a bolt for it. You start running towards the edge of the property when you feel a sharp and hurting shock in your back. You jump back in surprise and trot towards the house cowering at the thought of even stepping foot on the lawn. You are a human again and you now know why not to get an electric fence.

Life Plan
My name is Megan, and my life plan is just like any other plan. Get a scholarship for swimming and go to Harvard. Make it to the Olympics when I am 19 for Swimmimg stay in the Olympics for the next 8 years or more. Then go back to Harvard and learn how to be a docter. When I am 30 graduate from Harvard as a Docter with a husband and 2 kids ( soon to be 3.) Be a Docter for the the next 10 years of my life then be alected as the first female president of the United States.

Short Story
Along time ago there was a beautiful kingdom named Heuejen. It was named after the beloved lake that the city over looked. In Heuejen there was Queen Rosalinda and King Jobnola who over looked and took care of the beloved city. But, there was also Lord Eaxder who wanted to over through the King and Queen to make the city his own and plunge it into darkness for eternity.

Movie Review
Pitch Perfect

Pitch Perfect is a movie that has bombed the markets. Every where people are begging for copy's. Pitch Pefect can be bad for kids at times but once you get past that you find a amazing movie with music like never before! I mean how often do you come across a movie with Acapella as the main catch?!

Short Story
You know how there are time when the right thing just has to happen? When everyone is reallying on you to set things right? Well, this was one of those times I could feel the pressure of the world on my shoulders as the beaty eyes of all of fans drilled into me. I was behind the blocks at the summer Olympics in Athens, Greece in the swimming event 100 fly and telling myself nothing but good thoughts I steped up.

"OMG!" Cloe screamed "Emma, there is a spider on your stuff and there are ants taking over mine!" I looked done to see a penny sized spider calmly crawling of my friend Emma's stuff and screamed along with all the other girls that were get dressed in the Derby locker room. "I HATE bugs!" Short Story
Tristen is a turtle. His life has always been a maze of adventure. He climbed Mount Everest in record time (1 year 13:17,) and then snowboarded down the mountain. But unfortunately his parents abandoned him when he was 2 hours old and left him in the crowded streets of NYC just to be "adopted" by a hawk and almost eaten. That is only the beginning of Tristens amazing story.

Short Story
(Based on the story of Malala Yousafzai)
As the figure of a man walked onto the tour bus I thought he was normal but when he pulled out a black pistol and pointed it strait at me I knew I was a goner. His finger shakely pulled the trigger and he fired the gun at me 12 times 3 in each hand, 2 in my stomach, and four in my legs. I slumped forward and could here the crystal of my teachers calling "Jammie, Jammie!" In a panick sort of way as my best friend Kylie griped my hand and hugged me tight.

Short Story
AS they got closer I could feel all the fear that I had held in for the past 13 years escaping from the box deep inside my soul that I had hide it in. "Just stay calm and don't be scared, they can smell fear from miles away. It is there favorite snack" my mom (the president) screamed. My dad on the other hand was trying to forge a blade from a pebble he had found near by. So knowing that his "brilliant" plan would not work I started one of my own.

As I sat there looking into a space feeling the pressure of time weighing down on me like 10000 lbs of bricks I knew I would not live through the night. Just earlier that day I had a heart attack that would lead to a death so painful I would not know what to do with myself. As I leaned back and set my head on the Hospital bed I could feel my husbands hand closing around my hand. "We will be together soon" I whispered. I could make out a single tear rolling down his cheek as I took one last glanced at his tear stained eyes. I closed my eyes peacefully and could feel his grip tighten as he carefully kissed my cheek. And with that knowing he would be safe from harm I took a deep breath and there in that room died at my husbands side.
